Our version of Aurora Australis

Inspired by not being able to successfully photograph Aurora Australis near our place last week.

"It's more than a photo but not quite a video"

I love learning new things and made these cinemagraphs with some video footage I took. By selecting parts of the moving image and keeping a frame frozen you get this effect. I really enjoyed the whole process and think they are so fun to look at. I hope to make some more in the future.
